This album was recorded at Cinderella Studios, Madison, Tennessee, by Paul Moss. It was recorded direct to two-track on a Scully analog tape recorder at 30 ips with dbx noise reduction. The micrphones used were a Sennheiser 451 Telefunken U-87 for the banjo and guitar, Telefunken U-67's for the vocals and violin, and Shure 545's for the feet. Reverberation effects via EMT plates. The vocals were limited with dbx 160 compressor/limiters
