John and Marie,
Wanted to extend my thanks to both of you for a most enjoyable weekend.
Can't remember ever having such a relaxing and yet stimulating
experience.
Marie, your cooking is absolutely the best I've ever had - better than
the finest restaurant. I gained 5 pounds! I sure appreciated all you
did, taking care of all the meals so that we could concentrate on John's
words of wisdom and enjoy each other's company.
You seem to be a natural at teaching, John, offering advice in a
noncritical and honest manner. You have a lot to offer and I feel
fortunate that I got to hear it directly from you. I know that the
things you told us will go a long way.
Your house is charming and the setting perfect. I liked all of your
steamboat "stuff".
I especially enjoyed the company of all the fiddlers - what good people
they all are, and having that common bond of a love for your music and
the struggle of improving our own made it feel like we were part of a
family.
