my deepest sympathies and well wishes go out to his family, friends and fans. I have been a fan of Mr. Hartford's for longer than I can remember. it is good to see so many tributes. I haven't been able to stop crying since i found out the news. I know he's in a better place but he sure is going to be missed. I'm grateful for all the music and memories he's given. I was privaleged to see him preform on a riverboat of sorts. After the show i had a greater honor of touring a river dredger with him. He was a most considerate and talented person. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. The world could use a lot more John Hartfords in it and it is a great loss to us but a Wonder gain to heaven that he had to leave us. God bless you Mr. Hartford and may the lord continue to look upon, care and smile on your family. Thank you for everything.
