I assure these posts will remain on the web indefinitely, and they will be collected and printed for the family.

I had a long talk with Katie, John's daughter, last night at the visitation. She and her husband were so moved by these messages, that they are going to select 20 or so to read today at the funeral service.

Thanks again to everyone for making this tribute so wonderful.
