Indeed what a wonderfull guy John was, sorry I did not catch him live. Heard him on E town a while back when he sang Gentle on My Mind, a tune I had not heard for decades it seems. I have searched the web for the poetic lyrics which brough tears to my eyes when I heard him sing 'em. May I ask you to type them out and send along to me via e mail? I am a guitar player and want to perform the tune my next time in public.
