me again...just remembered seein' john at the hippodrome theater in gainesville and there was a heckler, well not really a heckler, but a rude guy in the audience...john said something to him politely,and played on...later he was singing 'golden globe award' and the guy yells out' thats sayin a mouthful ain't it john?"...so john is playin boogie and walks into the audience staring at each face while he searched for the asshole...all the time playin his fiddle...finally he got to him and poked him in the chest with his bow...back onstage he started to play another song and the guy yelled something else and john packed up and left, saying to us he was gonna play another hour and we could thank the asshole in the fifth row and left....the guy was lucky to have escaped alive..i also remember him playing'piece of my heart',the ol' janis joplin song on banjo and it was beautiful..i should've stomped the heckler like a rat in a box but what the heck...they're everywhere..ok...
