I recently lost my father to cancer, in February. I know how important it was to have family and friends near by. It helps making the passing easier. I was first introduced to John, in 1978, by a friend, and have been a fan ever since. We had the opportunity to see him perform at the Woodstock Opera House, two or three years ago. I was able to get his autograph, and a chance to talk to him, which was a big thrill for me! When you would talk to him - he would talk to you as you were an old friend. That's something todays performers-- do not have! I'll miss him and forever play his music.
