The CD is the soundtrack from the film "Down from
the Mountain"--a live concert by the artists from the "O. Brother. . ."
film. It is awesome. Besides John there are performances
by Alison Kraus, the Whites, Emmylou Harris,
Dan Tyminski, Chris Thomas King, Tim Nelson. . .
There is a nice tribute to John at the end of the CD
liner notes. I have seen the PBS special. I haven't
heard if it will be shown again. Hope so.
