A few weeks ago I thought about John & a performance & conversation & I became motivated to look in my little notebook for the date. It was 30 years ago - a snowy February evening when we went for a ride through the hills of western Pennsylvania after one of his solo gigs. My musical growth has been influenced by John's talents in good ways & it's nice to be reminded. - Jim
