From up north to down south here in Michigan near the Ohio border (but my heart's in the UP). Would catch John every chance in Ann Arbor (usually once or twice a year) and for a time when there was a small theater in Manchester called the Black Sheep in the years around the "Heading Down..." album. The Manchester shows I remember as being incredible. He would be there two nights and did two shows each night - caught 'em all. Never could get enough.
